Pump
This ones an obvious one. I started out with the Spectra S1 blue pump. I had a good supply with that but wanted something I could really move around with. I then bought the Eufy S1 pump about 5 weeks postpartum. That quickly became my main pump. I would suggest buying the Eufy and supplies directly from their site. The only real difference I found between the S1 and S1 Pro is the Pro comes with a chargeable case which I didn’t find necessary.
Water Bottle
The minute those pumps get put on, you’re going to want a big glass of water. I’ve loved this water bottle (Amazon)! It carries 40oz of water and also has a lock feature, so when your baby gets bigger and wants your water bottle, you can keep it locked.
Sunflower Lecithen
I wouldn’t say you need to start out taking this, but if you start to have issues with clogged ducts, these help relieve the clogs and promote milk flow. I like this brand (Amazon) specifically.
Pumping Bag
This bag (Amazon) helps keep everything organized when on the go. It has a spot for your pumps but also another section to hold bottles. It comes with a pad to lay down so your pumps aren’t on a dirty surface as well as an ice pack.
Ice Packs
You’re going to want some good ice packs to keep your milk cold while on the go. I like small, flexible ice packs for my pumps and larger curved ones to keep bottles cold.
Cooler
This small cooler and ice pack are perfect if you’re only going to be out for a short period of time and need to keep a couple bottles cold.
Bottle Warmer
If you can get your baby to drink cold milk, that’s great! But if not, this bottle warmer (Amazon) will help heat your bottles up quickly while on the go. You can set the temperature to 98 degrees, and it will beep when done. It then has an easy pour spout to pour back into the bottle.
Sterilizer
The golden rule is to wash and sterilize your pumps after every use. If you’re a new mom, you know that’s extremely hard to do. I do the fridge hack (placing pumps in the fridge in between pumps) throughout the day and then wash and sterlize at night. This sterlizer (Amazon) also has a drying feature if you just need to dry some bottles.
Milk Bags
You should be able to get a monthly shipment of bags through your insurance via the Aeroflow website. If you make more milk than what you can get through your insurance, I love these bags from Amazon. They thaw quickly and are easy to stack on top of each other.
Nipple Shields
When you first start pumping or breastfeeding, your nipples will be sore. These nipple shields (Amazon) help tremendously! Honestly, I can’t recommend these enough those first couple weeks.
Basin
This Basin (Amazon) is great to wash pumps and bottles in! It’s great to use on the go but also great to keep at home in the sink so you’re not mixing your pumps with other dishes.
